I would check online to make sure that stuff is safe for your dog - I have read alot of bad things about Hartz products
The other day DF and I were at Target looking for some stuff for our new puppy and happened to spy this stuff for $.40. The shelf tag said $.40 but I didn't believe it, so I scanned it and that is how it rung up! It was only the green colored shampoo, Fresh scent. It was weird...no clearance price or anything. The tag on the shelf looked just like all the other regularly priced items!

I've used Hartz shampoo/conditioner when it was cheap. Normally J&J baby shampoo is more than enough. We use an herbal flea&tick treatment as I don't trust it in other applications. I mean ever wonder why your pup has to be a certain age to use it.....?
Pretty good price though. Might be a good donation item.
I haven't used any of their stuff since a friend's cat went into shock and died. She used the one for cats but it still killed him in about two hours. The vet couldn't do a thing.
If Hartz is such an animal killer, why are their products still on the shelves??
Because people that aren't in the know keep buying their products. Also, they are a large corporation with plenty of legal backing. Most of the people whose pets are victims most likely can't afford the lawyers it would take to take them down.
I also imagine Hartz pays off those who have cases against them.

It's an eye opener.
