What pet do you have?

I just got 2 bunnies and they are so cute. One boy and one girl so I have to keep them apart until I can get them spayed.

2 Tiny Toy Pomeranians, Bear 3 1/2 and Kiara almost 3 and a Chow-Beagle mix named Boudreaux

Bear is in my avatar as a puppy in his daddy's arms (you can see how he got his name, he looked like a little bear cub!). He is our "first born" :) and is convinced he is actually a human. He's super agile and wants all of his parent's attention ;)

Kiara is our little princess, she loves being pampered. She's too good for her dog bed, preferring instead to find our blankets, pillows or clothes baskets. At night she sleeps above my head on my pillow, while her brother sleeps on my chest or back (depending on how I'm sleeping).

Boudreaux was my MIL's dog, but when she recently moved into an apartment she had to find Boudreaux a new home. We decided to add him to our family since he got along so well with our pups (they grew up playing with him) and so my MIL could still see him.

We have two un-named goldfish and a big white furball cat named Cosmo. We adopted him through freecycle. He's a big, picky, pouty baby. I'd love to eventually get a dog, but I have my hands full with what I got now. I don't think we're ready for the responsiblity of another pet anyways, I have to nag my boys to do their cat chores as is.

Well we got a new kitten last night I wanted one so bad, I was looking for one over this past weekend and had no luck so I thought hey its just not meant to be, so I went home and slept on it for the next few days, then yesterday I decided I really really wanted one, so I posted and ad on craigslist and a few minutes later I was on the phone adopting Buster he is 4 months old, all black with green eyes, my dogs are okay with him they just have to get use to each other I am hoping after this weekend that we are all one big happy family.

We have 3 dogs, all 3 are pretty good sized, 65-70 lbs each:

Brice, named by my father after a friend of his and later adopted by me and DH when my dad couldn't keep him, is a border collie and something mix. He's very smart and was born without a tail, he just has a little nub that's very cute when he wags it. He's 10 now and we call him our "grumpy old man". I had to laugh when I read the OP - Brice sounds like Chewbacca too! LOL We call him "chewie" sometimes when he makes his weird noises.

Sasha is our only girl. We found her in the middle of the road when she was only about 6 weeks old. After going door to door we never could find out where she came from so she came home with us. She's a doberman mix, we think - she has the black and tan markings and has very long legs. We call her our "nervous nellie" b/c she is the jumpiest dog I've ever seen, she is very hyper and sometimes acts as if she's been hit (she NEVER has at our house!).

Bugsy was named after the gangster Bugsy Seigel b/c when we brought him home from the shelter he weighed all of about 10 lbs but immediately began trying to push our other two dogs around. He had this whole "There's a new sheriff in town" attitude that was just hilarious. He is a "bagel" - a Bassett/beagle mix. He looks more like his mom - a Bassett hound. He thinks he is a lap dog and will lay right across you, if you happen to be laying on the couch, he will try to lay on your chest and you have to force him to move or you can't breathe!

We used to have a fish named Dennis (after Stanley's fish on the TV show - if you watch Playhouse Disney - LOL) and we're going to be dog sitting starting next week for about 5 months for my SIL's Bassett Hound, Sampson. Her DH is coming back from Iraq and will be finishing his tour with the USMC in San Diego. Then they'll be moving back here to NC and getting a house.

Bella is my year and a half old calico, and Lola is My brother's( lives with me) Netherland Dwarf bunny. as you can see in the pic Bella really isn't so sure of this whole idea!

We have 1 dog named Bailey. We adopted her from the Humane Society last year. She weighs about 95 lbs. I call her a rottador. She is a part rottweiler and part labrador.

We have a female calico named patches. She was a stray that just appeared about two yrs ago and never left. A week ago a great big black cat appeared on our porch. So my ds calls him Panther. He hasn't left so we've taken him in as ours. We also have one beta fish, named blue. And last but not least we have a fat healthy possum that thinks its a cat! He is so fat he can't even run. So we call him grandpa. Every week a new animal arrives, nothing surprises me around here. Guess it comes with living in the woods in the country.

We have one cat...Alley (cat), and one dog, Princess (didn't name her) who is a chihuaua. Alley was given to us as a baby from an unexpected litter from a friend, and Princess came along a year later from a cousin that thinks she's Paris Hilton and changes dogs on a frequent basis. So you can say we have "rescued" her! The cat is bigger than the dog and they look super similar...white with brown splotches. They are best friends (most of the time) I think because they are so similar. I never was really a dog person but ours has grown on me quite a bit! Even my hunting, gun toting man has warmed up to her and is good pals with her. You know how guys never want a sissy dog! LOL
