We have a Lhasa Apso samuel marshmallow "sam" and a Shi tzu gustavio rocketman "gus"
they are the greates dogs.
I think sam is part cat, he is so lazy!! thats them in my avatar!! |

We have Zoey - she's just shy of one year old...and a Chiweenie. Half Chihuahua, half dachsund. And a bundle of energy! |

I have Gunner. A miniature dachshund that is just a little over a year old. He rules the house!!!!! |

We have a beagle -Sadie we got her from my friend's cousin who was moving and couldn't take her with them. Then sadie ended up having puppies and we kept one- Sugar (cause she looked like a ball of brown sugar) who we think is a beagle/shepard mix. And then we have a ferret named Buddy (dd named him) that we got from a pet store 3-4 years ago.
It's neat to see so many people have dachshunds on here!! We used to have one (Piper - named after Piper Perabo from Coyote Ugly) but she passed away, and we had a mini pinscher before we moved down here that dh just loved (and I just hated!!). The d@mn thing wouldn't quit peeing on my (brand new) couch! |

We have 4 cats.
Milo, who was a stray and just walked inside one day and we decided to let him stay. He's a really smart cat and is black and white.
Buster aka Baby Cat, who is not much of a baby, came to us at an age too young to be weaned from his mother, but she had disappeared. He thinks of himself as one of my children and this shows in his behavior. He sleeps with me every night. He is gray and white and is a polydactyl.
Fish was a gift from a friend who hoards animals. Her DH told her no more critters so she gave him to us. He's one of the dumber cats I've had.
Sugar came with the house when we moved, abandoned by the previous tenants. I was feeding her outside and one day we let her in. She is a sweet little thing, and very dainty, and sleeps in the bed with my oldest son.
Then there are about half a dozen ferals who live about and we feed them on our porch.
We also have 3 hermit crabs, Mr Krabs, Mr Krabs, and Mr Krabs and fish in a small tank but the DH has upgraded and will be switching them to a 55 gallon tank this week.

we have two dachshunds
Heidi- almost 6 years old, mini red smooth coat. she is so soft. got her for DD on her 2nd birthday. She is named after the same dog I had as a kid since she looked just like her and I had great memories of her. Although she is a mini, she is near 12 lbs, fatty!
Rooney-almost 2 years old, mini dapple. I have never seen a dapple dachshund and when I did, I fell in love. She is so tiny and sweet about 8 lbs. She is named after the blue doodlebop.
They both think they are cats or pit bulls, LOL. They sit up on the back of the couch like cats or in the windows.
Heidi is bad and teaching Rooney her bad habits by climbing on the chairs to get to the food on the table, lol.

We have a Corgi puppy...he likes to eat coupons, especially the ones for free dog food...sigh...

Two dogs here :)
Tequila a shep/lab mix who is 5 1/2 years old and 50 pounds. We got her at 3 months old from a rescue group at Petco. Very BOSSY female dog (always has been and we can't break her of it) she has boatloads of energy and loves to play fetch and chase. She is very protective of the house and us. She is in LOVE iwth DH it's sick! She's a very jealous dog (thats gotta change with the baby on the way)
Bart is our Treeing Walker Coonhound/Black lab mix his about 4 1/2 years old and 35 pounds. We got him from the same resuce (we'd become friends with the women who ran it) he was returned twice before we took him in as a foster (at 9 months old) after two days DH said tell her we are keeping him!! He acts like mister tough guy but is truly scared of anything and everything that he isn't used to... he should be a cat just wants to sleep and lounge on the couch not much a player he wants to get petted for about ten mins a day and thats it! He likes to sleep under the covers in the winter!!
