Jigglyjello OMG your dogs are adorable. Just had to say Sasha is beautiful and you keep her groomed so nicely. I have a husky mix and we had a full blood husky when i was a kid and thats quite a acomplishment with how they shed. I have always had a soft spot for huskys, they look like they are smiling.

We have a two year old German Sheppard. Her name is Trinity. We got her from a pet store but made sure she was not from a puppy mill first. I picked her up there she put her head on my shoulder and I told my then fiance she was ours no questions. We went to get lunch after we put our deposit down for her and were sitting there slapping our legs saying here so and so with all the names we could think of. yes we got a lot of weird looks. Then he looked at my engagement ring said here trinity and we knew we found the perfect name. She is the best dog ever and too smart for her own good. We socialized here with other dogs and children when we got her which is a good thing since our first child is due any day now. We crate trained her as well but she figured out how to get out of that. She has also figured out how to open doors and open trash cans that have the step on the bottom. We think she has been very good practice for the baby. We shall see.

we have 1 cat and two dogs.Roxy our grey tabby cat is almost two. She belongs to my son and practicly lives in his bedroom so we dont see her a lot but she is very sweet.Missy our small spitz mix is 9 years old and was rescued from an abusive home when she was two, she is still verry agressive and very food potective but we love her and as long as no one bothers her she is fine.Two months ago i brought home a puppy from the no kill shelter where i worked untill it closed down.She is now 8 months old and so sweet she sleeps beside me at night.she goes to bed when i do and gets up when i do.she lays by my chair when i am at my desk.She is part pit bull part doberman and part everything else, her name is Satchie

I have a Great Dane her name is Sable we named her that because it was close to our beloved Dane that passed Sabbath,a Blue&Gold Macaw thats name is Blossom my husband thought she was as pretty as a flower?Thats what he said then I have a tame Lovebird named UNO for she was the first I raised from hatch,then a cockatiel named Mayday Merna previous owner had children who had no respect for animals and broke her wing so hench the name mayday my 9 yr old named her because she crashes alot lol.A ferret that I rescued from starvation name Diva Machine kids named her have no idea why but it stuck.

We have two very adorable dogs! They are our children until my husband and I are ready to have kids. Daisy is a 2 yr old shepard mix that we adopted from the local aninmal shelter. Hannah is a 7 yr old greyhound that we adopted from a local greyhound rescue. They are both very spoiled. I would love to adopt more animals, but two is enough for us right now!

We have a big girl a 16 lb.Maine Coone and as sweet a cat as you'd ever see! The breeders decided to name all their cats after places in Australia,so she is Alice Springs,and we never changed her name as Alice fits her just fine!

We have a kitty we got from freecycle last year... her name when we got her was Jungleskunk.. lol... but since she hid for the first week I started calling her Imaginary... (said it was a good thing my daughter was here when I got her or she would have put me in a home.. lol)... my granddaughter started calling her Magination.. and that's pretty much stuck now... :)

We have a beautiful Abyssinian cat named Lilly. She's a tad bit on the crazy side so she's been on Prozac for about 3 years now. She makes me laugh every day and is very sweet (well when she's medicated!).

I never believed in giving animals medication that alters their personality and/or behavior but in this case we HAD to. She started viciously attacking me, and only me, shortly after I became pregnant, we moved, and our ferret died all within a few weeks of each other. I actually still have a small scar left on the bridge of my nose from one of her attacks. So it was either get rid of her or seek alternative solutions. We took her to an animal behaviorist and they recommended either putting her down or trying meds. We did what we had to do to keep our little fur baby and I have no regrets. She is surprisingly very gentle with the kids now.

we have 4 cats and 1 dog.

Kiko (top), Kai (left), and Koda (right) are our boy Ocicats. They are fabulous cats. Kiko is 5, Kai is almost 4, and Koda will be 3 later this year.

Kricket is our little stray grey manx. She's 4 years old. She likes to be IN anything.. boxes, bags, tupperware... or on TOP of things... furniture... shower stall... second floor windows... refrigerator... kitchen cabinets... she's even found a way to get on top of the mantle.

Kirby is the newest baby. He is a one year old Papillon and is the best dog I've ever had! He's doing a great job of keeping the kitties on their toes!

I have a 13 yo German Shepherd named Abby. I got her from a former student who kept her in a tiny back yard. We had to put down our other shepherd due to hip dysplasia and advanced age. I have a 10 yo chihuahua named Tinkie. He was just so tinkie tiny when my children's chihuahuas had him. They had gone for three years with no breeding, I thought they were sterile. After Tinkie, they were spayed and neutered. I have Pug, a 13 yo cat who is the queen of everything. Pug also came from a former student. Ninja a two year old 12 pound cat who was born to a cat that came here and later left. Crazy Cat a two year old rescue. She was not socialized when young, and is very antisocial with most people. She bites when she likes you. Jilly Boo a 5 month rescued cat. She was given to me my a meth head who used to come into my store. I found out later her mother and siblings were killed by her boyfriend's chow. Finally, we have Rilely,a rescue from Paws. She is part chihuahua and part terrier. She's one of those dogs that are so ugly, they're cute. Also, we have cattle. Room is not a problem for us. Everyone is spayed or neutered except for Riley, who hasn't gone in yet, and Ninja, who was let out of the house and disappeared for a couple of days when he had his appointment.
