I haven't done a deal like this at Pathmark - will the ocupons interfere with the total of $30?

There's a coupon out there from last Sunday I believe for the Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Pasta. Maybe $1/3? I can't remember right now, but it's out there.

I made a major trip to Pathmark....after coupons, and the instant $5 Heinz offer, and the $10 off when you spend $50, paid $49.35 for the following

21 jars of applesauce
10 Select Soup
3 Rinaldi Spaghetti sauce (for the rebate)
15 DelMOnte Spaghetti sauce (0.74 each! - had a coupon for $5 off 15 DelMonte)
8 Old Orchard Juice
4 ORe Ida Potatoes
1 Heinz Ketchup
1 Heinz Gravy
1 TGI Fridays snack
6 GOya Beans
3 RedPack tomato sauce
1 Valley Fresh chicken can
4 Zatarains complete Meals
2 Bisquick


Major deal! BUT the $5 did not print out on the register tape. So, the customer service folks counted the 21 apple sauce and the 10 Select Soup and then gave me $5 in Pathmark dollars. (I bought way more than the $30 minimum.....and it still didn't print out - I was trying to get the bill over $50 after coupons.)

Only the OreIda and TGIF is for us, the rest is charity. So, about $34 for charity food, not bad.

Has anyone else had problems with the $5 printing out? I was going to do another order with more Motts and Select Soup, and maybe some Prego, but I don't know if I should bother, if it doesn't print out.
