This is a good week to stock up on meat. $1.88 /lb for ground beef and pork chops. Chicken 50% off.

Halloween candy is at half price so if I can find a Q I might go ahead and pick that up.

Cambell's chunky soups are on sales also and I saw a Q floating around for that.

I'm excited about the turkey promo! You have to spend $300 in two months to get an up to 20 pound frozen turkey or 10 dollars off your next meat purchase. I can't believe it is $300 after coupons. I have lots of frees from the freebie subforum. My goal is to earn the free turkey at Pathmark and Acme hehe.

The Gillette Razor advertisedis $7.99, they have $4coupon minused off price from this past weekend's paper - so $3.99 with $4 coupon. Not a great deal, better at CVS.

Ugh..I am so frustrated with my pathmark! I went last night to run in and get some more dreamfields (on sale till 10/1) and free marcal paper towels with Q.

I tried to buy 10 of each in the same transaction, which I have done a bunch of times and has never been a problem before. well the cashier told me she could only accept 4 coupons for each
(a total of 8, not the 20 I tried to use) I asked her if this was a new policy (like as of yesterday???) and she told me this has always been the case. She corroborated with the 17 year old front end manager who also said this has always been the case! I told her that I have always used more than 4 identical Q's if I have purchased more than 4 identical items and have never been told of this policy. I was so !@#@#%#@$^T, that I told her to void out the 6 additional items of towels and 6 of dreamfields. She did. I stopped by customer service on the wasy out and their coupon poilcy is clearly posted. I asked the CS if it was a current poilcy and he said yes. The poilcy states that in stores which double coupons, a customer can double up to 4 identical coupons. It goes on to list an example that if a customer buys 5 cans of maxwell house, the cashier will double 4 of the coupons and give the 5 at face value (therfore allowing the customer to use as many coupons as they have items!!) I told the cs what had just happened at the register and he said "yeah, you can only use 4 of the same coupons) I read the policy to him and he said "well 'they' told us that you can only use 4 coupons". AGGGGHHHH. I will be sending a letter to pathmark asking for a complete copy of their coupon policy to have with me when I shop again. I am sooooo frustrated. The cashier suggested i get back on line a few more times. If that is ok, why can't she just sell them to me in one transaction? Sorry for the rant.

Thought someone would like to know about the Free Pink Kitchenware deal: I purchased three Cascade Rinse agents 4.xx ea, three Mr. Clean 2.49ea and three Tampax and I received the coupon to send in with my receipt. Pretty good deal as I used 3 free Cascade coupons from the Home Made Simple booklet (exp 9/30), three .75 doubled for the Mr. Clean and three $1.00 off for the Tampax that i had in my coupon folder (not sure where those came from). I went over the required amount 30.21 before q's and 8.34 after coupons. I could have done better. I only needed to puchase two Tampax to get to the total. My mistake! I really wanted the set! I've already sent it on it's way! There are many ways to work the deal. You can go here to read what is included.

Hmmm I went today and used 5 $1/2 coupons for 10 Ragus. Weird.

I spent too much money today...I mean not so bad that it really affects it, but just way more than usual stocking up. I kinda winced when it was time to pay.

Me, too. What a disappointment. I was saving them expressly to use for my $300 total. :shrug7:
