Waldbaums/A&P Seems To Have Best Deal on Pepsi/Rebate Deal I didn't see anything that really jumped out at me but I am really only looking for stuff we can use right now. Everyone has the Pepsi on sale but Waldbaums (aka Superfresh aka A&P) seems to have a pretty good deal if you are planning to do the Peps rebate ($15 in Pepsi coupons OR $15 gift certificate to NFLshop.com. The if you select the coupon option it includes:
FIVE (5) COUPONS ($2 denominations) TO BE USED TOWARDS A FUTURE PURCHASE OF PEPSI PRODUCTS AND TWO (2) COUPONS (consisting of one (1) $2 coupon and one (1) $3 denomination) TO BE USED TOWARDS A FUTURE PURCHASE OF FRITO-LAY PRODUCTS.
I have no idea what sizes or products the coupons above are good on. This is what the form states.
The rebate requires that you purchase:
(3) 12-packs or two (2) 24-packs or eight (8) 2-Liters of any
brand of qualifying Pepsi-Cola products (Pepsi®, Diet Pepsi®, Caffeine Free Pepsi®, Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi®, Mountain Dew®, Diet Mountain Dew®, Sierra Mist®, Sierra Mist Free®, Jazz®, Diet Pepsi Max®, Mug Root
Beer® and Tropicana Twister® soda).
AND
Three (3) 9 oz. or larger size bags of snacks and/or jars/cans of dips/salsas of any Frito-Lay product (for example: LAY’S® Potato Chips, DORITOS® Tortilla Chips, RUFFLES® Potato Chips, FRITOS® Corn Chips, CHEETOS® Cheese Flavored Snacks, TOSTITOS® Tortilla Chips, ROLD GOLD® Pretzels, SUNCHIPS® Multigrain Snacks and/or any Frito-Lay dips/salsas).
Now there are no really good insert coupons per the database to go with this . . . I did see some tearpad coupons on eBay that had to do with the salasa.
Waldbaum's deal is that when you spend $15 on any combo of these Pepsi-Cola and Frito Lay products (using Club card) between 1/25 and 1/31 you get a $5 off your next purchase. It says limit (1)$5 coupon per transaction in the ad and that the $5 on your next purchase coupon expires 2/15 - offer valid only at participating stores (this ad is for Brooklyn, NY).
The sale prices listed are as follows -- all are listed as assorted varieties:
Pepsi 12 packs 4/$10
Tostitos and Ruffles Family Size Snacks 2/$5 (15.5 - 19 oz)
Lays Potato Chips $1.74 (12.5 - 13 oz)
Doritos Tortilla Chips 2/$5 (12.5 oz)
Rold Gold Pretzles 3/$5 (10 - 16 oz)
Tostitos Salsa 2/$5 (15.5 - 16 oz)
If they ring up the sodas at $2.50 each you could buy (3) 12 packs (7.50) and (3) Rold Gold Pretzles ($5) and spend $12.50 out of pocket. If you were doing this to just get multiples of the product (rebate is one per household) then you can roll your coupon and spend $7.50 each consecutive time.
There are of course other combonations but this is the cheapest one I can figure out IF you can just buy 3 on the soda but I do not see anywhere in the ad that you have to buy (4) 12 packs for the sale price and as I recall Waldbaums rings up each item at the breakout price. Another version if you don't like the pretzles that is cheap would be the Lay's. Your total would be $12.72 for the first order and then $7.72 for each one after that.
Forgive me if I made any mistakes. I am exausted and have a meeting tomorrow but I did want to type this up to share with others. If anyone knows of any coupons please share.
Forms for the rebate were on 12 packs and on tear pads at least at my local Shoprite. I think my husband even brought some home for me so if I can put my hands on them and anyone needs them send me a PM so we can work out a trade.
