Question about triples

Hi all I'm fairly new at this an soooo addicted already! Anyway I was just wondering, when A&P triples does that mean I need 3 of each Q per item or will the register just do it automatically?

You just need one coupon, under $1 in value, and the register will automatically triple it. When it scans, it will scan the original value- say .50, and then right below it you will see 1.00- meaning you saved 1.50 from just one .50 coupon.

I have a question about cats. If I need to spend $20 to get one but only spend $15 because of q's do is still get the cat?

If the regular price of the items totals $20, you get the Cat regardless of coupons.

Unless your coupons used included catalinas for the same deal. Rolling catalinas just don't work well at A&P.

Wow - this just explained what happened to me the other day on the GM cereal promo that ended Thursday.

Reese's Puffs were supposed to be 3/$6, and I used a $1.50/3 cat, and ended up paying over $5 for each box. Now I see why.
