    DD3 March 11-17, highlights & matchups

Lisa's Bargain Alert: Superfresh ad, March 11-17, highlights & matchups

Superfresh has some catalina deals this week:

Get $3 back instantly when you buy any 7 quaker items listed; quaker cereals and aunt jemima are 1.88, oatmeal, chewy, syrup or quaker squares are 2.50; Annoying that we can't play the shelf/sale price game, since it's by unit count, not dollar threshold.

Ongoing $10 back when you spend $75 on frozen food.

Plus their 5% savings certificates that you earn each time you spend $300.

Kelloggs cereals are 3 for 9 (a terrible price!) and you get a gallon of milk wyb 3; the coupons that are out right now are only $1 off 3 (last Sunday) so you'll pay 3 for 8, plus a gallon of milk; take into consideration that you may have to buy milk anyway at 3.50/gallon.....4.50 for 3 boxes of cereal is not fantastic by any means, but certainly much better than the shelf/regular price. So get it if you need it.

    Perdue-bogo
    pork chops-1.99/lb
    4lb oranges-2.49
    beef brisket-1.49
    irish soda bread-2.50
    5lb white potatoes-0.99, good price

shrimp, tilapia, gorton's, on sale, yippee

    Quaker cereals & aunt jemima-1.88
    pepsi 12 packs-3.33
    hellmann's-2.99
blue bunny-1.88, woohoo! use the $2 printable for small overage
    hot/lean pockets- 6 for 10
bounty, with esavings-8.99, $1 coupon from 2/27 inserts
tide-9.49 after e-savings, and the stupid coupon is $1 off 2 and this deal is limit 1

    perdue nuggets, cutlets-2.50

tyson bacon-3.99, funny, bogo at acme, 3.99 here.....same thing

FREE irish soda bread when you buy kerrygold pure butter at 3.99 a half pound, yeah right! Like I'm ever going to pay 8 bucks a pound for butter

tropicana, 2 for 6, coupons last sunday, same price as acme

    yoplait, 10 for 6, it's 10 for 5 today at acme

dannon greek yogurts, 10 for 10

    yocrunch greek parfaits, $1

kellers butter-3.99; I just paid 2.49 for the acme store brand

    AC cream cheese-0.99

Florida's natural, 89 oz-3.99; I bought this last week because the 59 oz container of tropicana was 4.29; we're pretty particular about OJ, and will only buy stuff that is NOT from concentrate; this was pretty good, right up there with tropicana

Philly cooking creme-$2, $1.50/ones all over the place, acme has tearpads, so did SF, and there are printables; personally I tried this & we didn't like it, but for $0.50 I would try another flavor

    silk-$3,

san giorgio pasta-0.88, just make sure you choose the 16 oz not 12 oz packages

ragu-1.25 (I'm thinking we're going to get coupons for this this coming Sunday)

Herr's-2.49, big enough that you can use the $1 printable

eggo thick & fluffy-2.50, coupons last Sunday

Overall, a pretty dull week at both SF and Acme! There aren't even coupons out for many of these items!

Would you mind posting how you prepare the brisket? I feel like I make the same old cuts of meat again and again.....

If your Superfresh ad has Blue Bunny Ice Cream for $1.88 - there is a $1.00 IP coupon on www.coupons.com - use zip code 80808 if you do not have the 2.00 one.

As my mom did...I boil it for about 4-5 hours in a big pot....I ad potatos at 4 hours or so and cabbage 1/2 hour after that.

I don't know any other way to do it

    I was so disgusted today!
Our superfresh will NOT honor the ad because they are closing.
All the prices were jacked up!

They have a lame 10%-30% off everything but the only 30% is on the old clearance stuff that didnt sell.

I had a short list but walked out with nothing.
    Grrrrr

The flat cut brisket is better than the point cut and waay less fatty. :)
It costs a bit more but it's worth it and then you can make reubens! mmmmm
