A&P ~ Ugh! My Store Stopped Weekly Triples....

The cashier was nice enough to inform me about this before starting my order. They stopped the 3 weekly triples 2 weeks ago....no specific reason. She said a lot of customers said thats the only reason they shopped there (including me cause the prices are too high).

I think that was a bad move because another A&P that I shop at just had a Price Chopper open across the street and those triples couldve helped in the competition ....... I dont think itll be long before they close shop.

My A&P in OLd Lyme did the same thing. Only reason I shopped there too. The deals are drying up fast.

Yeah I depended on the overage from the triples and frees there to lower my total....

Is there another grocery store near your A&P?

Nearest other store is Stop & Shop either in OLd Saybrook or East Lyme approx. 10 miles either way. This stinks. I did the same went to A & P frees and overage.
