A&P ~ P&G deal 6/4 - 6/10

There is a P&G gas card deal that looks very attractve at frst glance. Buy $35 of select PG products and get a $15 gas card. However, it is a mail in type offer. I can't recall this at A&P before and I'm wondering if this is based on sale price or shelf price. If shelf, there will be some very good deals.

Wondering if you get a coupon for the card at the time of purchase and you mail in for your card and no receipt is necessary. That way we would know whether it is based on shelf or not. If you have to mail it in with receipt, they may decide it is based on sale price and nix the gas card, which would totally $@(%.

Has anyone done any of these deals before that can shed some light?

I did similar deal at Shoprite in April Buy $25 get catalina for mail-in-offer for $10 prepaid visa card. It worked on pre-card prices and I got the visa card just fine.

Repped. That's good to know. Did you have to send in your receipt or did it spit out a form from the cat machine that had to be mailed in?

I did the deal yesterday and got the Cat form to send in along with my receipt. Unfortunately I don't think they deducted enough for the 3 day sale items (Tide) and I will have to go back and get i t adjusted. I hope it doesn't screw up my receipt and draw attention to the fact that I didn't actually pay $35 after sale and coupons.
