or your LB? I beat ours with a meat mallety thingy and diagonally slice the sides so it doesn't curl up & then throw it into a hefty freezer bag with a bottle or two of marinade and freeze it. Then when we are ready for LB I get it out and put it in the oven on 250 for hours @ 3? and check on it the last hour I bump it up to 350. so it marinates as it thaws/cooks:)

Tough! You mean keeping up with all the great deals lately?
or your LB? I beat ours with a meat mallety thingy and diagonally slice the sides so it doesn't curl up & then throw it into a hefty freezer bag with a bottle or two of marinade and freeze it. Then when we are ready for LB I get it out and put it in the oven on 250 for hours @ 3? and check on it the last hour I bump it up to 350. so it marinates as it thaws/cooks:)

I have some tough london broil from SR in the freezer so I appreciate the tips. but I am not sure how long you are saying to to cook it and at what temperature? 250 hours seems like longer than I have..... at 3? isn't a setting on my oven.

London broil..... marinate and/or use meat tenderizer. I use salad dressing...italian or bargain marinade.

I broil it on high 8-10 minutes on each side, let it rest for 5-10 minutes and then slice it thin or sorta thin against the grain. DH says it must 'rest' so that the juices don't run out.

My kids prefer it to actual steak because there is less fat and gobby parts. We haven't bought real steak in years.

I've never tried baking it.
I think on the grill it would be the same as the broiler and using a high flame.

I went to my A&P today and did the Unilever deal. I bought 8 Ragu Sp = 2.49 and 1 Wishbone and used 8 .60/1 Ragu and 1 .50/1 Wishbone.
8 * 1.67 + 1 * 1 = 14.36 - 9.60 (8*.60*2) - 1 (.50*2) = 3.76 and got the $5 cat.

I also got 4 Nestle 16 oz low fat chocolate milks on sale for $1 each and used 4 .50/1 coupons = free. I picked up one of those glossy monthly books (Easysaver??) and there was a store coupon for .50/1, but that was after I paid and was walking out.

You can double more then 4 identical coupons? I thought all A&P was programmed for 4 then face value for the rest. If so, I may try a few other stores to see what they do.

Were there any $.60/1 coupons that are valid on the small jars? I thought they were all for the 2 lb jar.
