The $40 is based on the sale price for this deal. I went last night and got 6 ICBINB and 1 Shedds CC at 2.50 each and was credited $17.50 toward turkey. Coupons did not affect total.

I bought 4 campbells gravy last week just to try that turkey deal. They were on sale for 4 for $2. I too only received credit based on the sale price, $2 was credited. A&P is catching on!!!

If you have a Pathmark in the area - they usually have the same cumulative turkey promotions - it's usually better to do it over there. Pathmark runs the totals based on regular shelf price while A&P/Superfresh/Waldbaums totals based on sale price.

I can definitely speak from experience for this season's promos - I have one 'turkey coupon' from Waldbaums (worked great on Pepperidge Farm/Campbells with triple coupons) and one 'turkey coupon' from Pathmark.
