Thank you, ocean935, for explaining how that works.

So, what does that mean... "repeat offender"? How often or how many times might that be?

Stopped in Superfresh today - the Bumble Bee tuna is 99 cents through October 29th.

I know back when they were doing triples, I took a lot of Kraft bbq & Frenchs mustard to the service desk b/c they were expired. I wanted them off the shelf so they could restock with fresh. All I got was a thank you - scrooges !!

Oh - some of their soup at hands were past the exp date too. Guess they keep shoving the old back when restocking instead of rotating.

    You're welcome!

If you have legitimately expired stuff, and you have a positive demeanor, you may repeat frequently without offending.

There are some who squabble over a couple of crushed strawberries, or wilted lettuce the day after they bought them. Once or twice, they'll let it pass; but if you make it your business to do it every trip...

Many thanks! Our bread didn't have the $0.55 on it, but I was still willing to pay $1.50/loaf.

Thanks for updating. My store didn't have the tags when I went, but the Bumble Bee rung up on reduced red tag price.

Got it... thanks for the clarification!
