QUESTION A&P ~ General Mills Bonus Bucks Question (8/14-20)

Hello,

I have been looking at the 8/14 ad over the weekend, and I notice that many Fiber One products are part of the General Mills Bonus Bucks deal this week (Buy $30, get $8 bucks).

To the left of the box reads, "Buy 4 of the Fiber One products below, and get a box of Fiber One chewy bars free (price deducted instantly at checkout)". This could make a decent deal a potentially better deal if the price of that box counts toward the $30 before it gets deducted. Any ideas on if the regular price of the bars will or will not count toward the initial $30 total?

There are a number of Fiber One coupons on the database (cereal, bars, pancake mix, muffin mix, etc), so the items can work out to between $0.50 and $1.50 a piece (great deal for Fiber One cereal in the NY area). The Fiber One yogurt isn't listed in the promo box, but it is listed to the left, and works toward the deal for the free box of bars. YMMV with the Bonus Bucks offer (I'm not going to risk it, because my customer service desk treats you like a criminal if you god-forbid have to return something, particularly Bonus Bucks related).

Just thought I'd share this idea in case anyone is interested in getting a good deal on healthy items. If anyone has tried and knows the answer about whether or not we can use the price of the free box toward the total, I'd appreciate it, as the OOP mentioned above would be even less. Have a great week!

Default re: A&P ~ General Mills Bonus Bucks Question (8/14-20)

This was stated before in either a Superfresh or the A&P thread and it was thought that it would count towards the $30 total. However, I tried it and I did not even get the credit for the Free box. I had included it in my total, but the Cat machine was not working and I had to go to CS to get my Cats. The girl simply took one box and scanned it until the GM cat printed, so I don't know how many she actually scanned.

If you're a newbie (assumed from only 10 posts), that is a pretty smart questioon to ask. You've got a lot of potential
