I am sorry to hear you had a negative experience, and I don't mean any disrespect, but either one of those actions strikes me as a bad idea when you're trying to do a money-making Bonus Bucks deal multiple times, especially if it is perhaps not that big a store.

It does bring extra attention to both you and the deal itself, which might have long-term negative consequences for you, as far as shopping in that store, and for that deal or similar deals. You may "win the battle" this week as far as getting this week's deals, but you may "lose the war" as far as that store and future deals. (I want to say that I don't mean to imply, by my use of the "battle/war" analogy that shopping or couponing is about "battles" and "wars" with the store; that analogy just came to mind because in your post you wrote "Well, who won...".) I think it's better, with certain deals, to FUTR a bit.

I was impressed with how you seem to be handling it emotionally, as far as your other anecdote where you wrote "I knew what she was doing, she was trying to make me feel uncomfortable (which she was) I just tried to turn it back on her saying that her efforts were actually helping me." It sounds like you managed to stay very cool and collected about it, and you parried back nicely. How did that cashier respond when you treated her discouraging behavior as helpful and nice?

Again, sorry to hear you had a negative experience at SF.
I just wanted to say I understand what you are saying about spreading things out, but I live an hour away from my closest A & P. So I did 9 transactions today. (fruit snacks/NV Bars) I go in and out and use the self check out. I also make sure I tell them how greatful I am for the deals because of my drive. Some of us just can't go every day. And multiple transactions is the only way we can work things out.
My response to those who ask why do you coupon.
"I can spend my money on toilet paper and deoderant or I can use coupons for that stuff and save my money for a new Burberry. I think I would rather have a cute bag "

Please Do Not Post Any Coupons And /Or Links That Are In PDF, HTML, JPEG, JPG Or GIF Format

Most links to coupons ( Manf. or Store Specific ) in newspapers or Online Magazine are not allowed as they are being distributed in a manner not intended by the Manufacturer or Store. Exceptions to the rule would be if the link is powered by print limit software such as Bricks, Coupons.com etc
