SuperFresh ~ HORRIBLE experience at superfresh in collegeville/trappe Pa

I went in to that superfresh SUPER excited, it was my first time ever going to a store that was going to triple coupons!
The only thing I could find that was free or overage with coupons was finesse, which we'll never use, but it was good for overage, and luigis Italian ice, which I didn’t have a coupon for!
Everything else was either gone, or not priced at the prices I’m reading here!
2.79 a box for hamburger helper?!?!
2.99 for cheerios snack mix?!
No hot pockets to be found!
No BC Warm delights..
And then the cashier..
OMG the cashier..
She scrutinized each and every one of my coupons, huffing, puffing and sighing the entire time! She manually entered all my coupons that SHOULD have given me overage.. I was planning on spending cents, and ended up putting back a pack of diapers AND still spending 8 dollars!
Are they all like this?!

hrmm, I've had pretty good luck with the cashiers at that store, I had one at the old KOP store that pulled out a calculator and went over every single item, took nearly an hour.

There is an older guy at Collegeville who is really good.

The prices at Collegeville are really high - though if you want to puke - check out Chester Springs prices - they are HORRIBLE!

Did the older guy give you overage or adjust each of your coupons?!

i've gotten overage, he has occasionally adjusted a coupon, but not always.

I pretty much just consider overage a bonus.

overage is a bonus, especially at SF.

THe store in lansdale is horrible w/ prices and CS and rude cashiers (one in particular is a witch) so i avoid the store--i'll go way out of my way to another location if the sales are that good.

I would definately let CS know about your dissatisfaction. I shop the Columbus Blvd. store in Philly. I love that store. Everyone is super helpful and courteous, and it's kept well stocked. The cashiers are nice, though I usually go to UScan. The UScan attendant is super nice and helpful. She's a big time couponer too.

I shop at the SF on Columbus Blvd as well. I love their UScan, it is the best.
I normally like to go towards 10 or 11 when it is almost completely empty and you can take your time scanning your items.

Use they self check out next time, if there's a free cashier trying to get you down to the register just tell them thanks but you'd rather not get treated like a criminal!

I was in that store earlier this week and was very unhappy. The mgr. came over and scrutinized every one of my coupons then tore off my receipt to match up the coupons with the items to make sure there would be no overage. He ended up entering all of the coupons by hand. I asked why the computer wouldn't adjust and he said that they never did. He also looked at the coupons that said DND (Huggies, Red Baron, and WonderBread peelies) and told me that he would not double them, did I still want the item.... WHAT?

Yeah, I was pretty disgusted. I have never had a problem with the cashiers or the mgmnt, but the selection/stock of items has always been terrible IMO.

You cannot expect to get overage - it is a bonus not a right. Most stores state that they will only double/triple up to the amount you actually paid.
