Our Centre Square Superfesh at 73 has very nice people working there. They have gone back and forth with accepting Internet coupons since I started shopping there. Now once again they no longer accept IP's due to unfortunately being taken advantage of financially and their cashiers being treated rudely.
In particular the story which was related to me was someone who tried to checkout with a stack of 20 IDENTICAL IP numbered Q's! When the cashier informed the customer that she would not be able to take the Ip's The customer got very loud and yelled at her and another cashier came over. A manager was able to come over because the scene was so loud and offensive and the manager also refused the IP's. The customer was loud and rude to all involved creating a very hostile work environment for them. Because this was a repeat offender who behaved that way the store was on lookout for fraudulent IP's Now the store views it safer both economically and personally on all fronts to just say "NO!" to IP's.
We all know that 2 of a coupon can be printed per computer. We all know that photocopying is illegal. There have been the occasions where a pdf was distibuted buy a company by mistake but we all know what a disaster that can turn out to be. Unfortunately, there will always be people out there who take advantage of the system to extremes. That type of behavior hurts everyone who coupons.
In the current economic climate, manufacturers are cutting back on their own printing costs by offering IP Q's to customers to print with their own money (ink).
This behavior makes me feel very annoyed to put it lightly. I wasted my ink, I wasted my time. Stores have the right to deny coupons and their workers have the right to work in a non-hostile work environment. Coupons are not an entitlement. Now a place where I love to shop has been effected and so has my family:sad: Sorry if this sounds too preachy it just really ruffled my feathers today!
