SMILE SuperFresh ~ Post your triples and Bonus Bucks shopping trip 6/5-6/11

I went in this morning got
Edwards Pie
mentos (overage)
Mc cormick pepper
Newman's own pasta sauce
NY dips and sticks (overage) (They only had one in stock)
PPF Hamburger Buns
Nature's prode bread
Old orchard healthy balance juice

Did 2 BB deals:
bought Sargento cheese and Breyers yogurt, got $3
Bought 3 cocoa puffs and 1 BC fruit snacks got $4

used 10% employee discount Q. The cashier took off only $1.54. This will work only on non sale items. None of the fliers had 10% Q. I got it from news paper ad HMMM.

There is a $.50 sargento Q in ES.

I bought 16 Breyers yogurts, $.99 each.
$.99 x 16 = $15.84.
I had four $.50 coupons so it came to $6.40 - $6.00 = $.40.
I received $3 bonus backs back.

I plan on doing this later today - by any chance did you buy any of the Mr. Clean sprays - and if so do they count towards the promo total? I know they are not marked on shelf or in the bonus bucks box for P&G. I plan on buying them anyway since they work out to .25 each with the $2.50 sale price and .75/1 coupon, but I'm hoping they also count towards the total.

Swiffer WetJet Refills (the liquid) asst var (scented and wood cleaner) are being discontinued at my store - so they are $2.20 after the 50% off. Used .50/1 coupon from same Home Made Simple booklet - comes to .70

Windex Sanitary Wipes are discontinued, ring up 50% off at 1.95, used .40/1 any Windex insert coupon - comes to .75

Also did:

Mentos gum (not really part of triples) = overage of .51 for each pair
French's spicy mustard $1.50 - .75/1 insert = overage of .39 (shelf price is now $1.89 at my store)
Breyer's yogurt 16 cups - 4 .50/4 inserts = .40 oop and rec'd $3 BB
Fiber Plus bars $2.50 - .75/1 tearpad = .25 oop

I plan on doing Lean Pockets - have a raincheck for $2.00 each coupled with .50/1 insert coupon - so .50 each.

NY Bagel Chips are on sale for $2.99 each and there is a .75/1 insert coupon - my store this morning only had plain - trying another store this afternoon.

My store was wiped out of Shout and Old Orchard Healthy Balance juices - two of the things I specifically went for.

Lousy triples this week - hardly any matchups between sales and available coupons.

I did the Breyers deal as well, there was also a booklet next to the ads that said something like "Graduation/Father's Day" and had store qs in it. One for .25 Breyers, so I used that as well. Great moneymaker.

The Pringles Minis Cheese Flavor rang up .99, .50/1 q gave overage.

Thanks for listing other deals I missed, I plan to go tomorrow and see if anything is left!

Congratulations! Very cute! Big brother looks so cute and pleased too!

I'm going to look into my crystal ball here and predict... there WILL be another triples, as soon as you're more ready to go shopping again! ;-) (Actually, based on patterns, it is very likely and possible that there will be triples again in early mid July... Keeping fingers crossed!)

Congratulations again!

Congrats!!! Beautiful baby and proud big brother!! I saw on the Shoprite thread that you called her Isabella Danni (not sure of the spelling) - absolutely wonderful name - very melodic!

Answered my own question - the Mr Clean sprays do NOT count towards the P&G $40 - didn't think they would, but a girl can hope. I did the P&G Buy $40 Get $10 Bonus Bucks deal and it did not work. I bought $40 shelf price (not including the sprays that I mentioned do not work). I purchased the following (it all should have counted according to the ad, but something is not programmed) ...

3 Mr Clean Heavy Duty Erasers 2 pack (they are the only ones that count the 4 pack of regular are not in the ad - specifically says 2 pack)
Shelf price $3.19 each - sale price $2.50 each - 3 .75/1 mailer coupons

3 Mr Clean all purpose liquid cleaners (1 Citrus, 2 Flower something)
Shelf price $3.99 each - sale price $2.50 each - 3 .75/1 mailer coupons

2 Febreeze Air Effects sprays (1 Rocky Springs, 1 Meadows & Rain)
Shelf price $3.99 each - sale price $2.50 each - 3 .50/1 mailer coupons

2 Downy Softener Sheets - Vanilla & Lavender
Shelf price $5.49 each - sale price $3.99 - 2 1.00/1 mailer coupons

Total Shelf prices $40.50, Total Sale prices $27.98, OOP $9.68

I'll be calling Catalina on Monday to see what happened - if I did something wrong and they can't issue the BB, I'll be returning the Air Effects and the Downy sheets since I don't really need them and they were the majority of my oop.

Look around your store for discontinued items - some of the ones I found were in a 'discontinued area', others were marked on the shelf with the 50% off tags, and others were totally unmarked but I knew to look since I had seen the tags in other stores and Pathmark (same parent company)

Some other discontinued items in my second trip today ...

Pillsbury reduced sugar frosting 50% off at $1.19 - .35/1 insert = .15 oop
Pillsbury reduced sugar brownie mix 50% off at $1.60 - .35/1 insert = .55 oop
Pillsbury reduced sugar cake mixes should also be included but they were gone in both stores I visited - so scan those
Paul Newman Sundried Tomato Dressing 16 oz 50% off at $2.10 - .75/1 insert = .15 overage
Mr Clean Power Multi Surface Wipes 75 ct 50% off at $2.99 - .75/1 mailer coupon = .74

FYI - In case anyone needs regular price of Edwards/Mrs Smith's singles - reg price in my store is $3.49 - .75/1 insert would come to $1.24 oop. Still debating here - I don't know whether that is a good price or not (last time I bought them they were on sale coupled with triple coupons - so these seem expensive to me now!!!)
