DD3 Superfresh April 17-23 ad highlights

Viva papertowels-4.99; I love Viva and still have my 0.75 coupons, too bad limit is 1.

    Capri Sun-1.87

Brut-some stuff for $1, free if you have recent $1 coupons.

Sea Breeze-$1, I think I have $0.35 or $0.50 coupons from recent inserts.

Big meat sale-says up to 50% off.

Overall, not too much to get excited about.

Thanks for posting. How did you get the ad early? Do they mail it to you, and if yes, how does one get on the early mailing list? I keep meaning to ask people that, so if anyone knows, please let me know, and thanks in advance.

Re the Viva paper towels that are $4.99, what size package does the ad say? How many rolls in that package?

There are .85 cent coupons out there, which doubled, make it $3.30+.40tax (assuming tax rate of 8+ % on $4.99), or $3.70 total. If it's an 8-pack, then it's about .46 per roll. If it's a 6-pack, then it's about .61 or .62 per roll. That's good price for Viva, right?

There is a brand new short-term rewards program for buying Nestle Pure Life Water - you will need to collect receipts and UPC codes. Purchases must be made from 04/01/09 to 09/30/09. All requests must be received by 10/14/09.

Sign up on the website Nestlé Pure Life - Pure Life / Best Life Challenge - Home

    Possible rewards are ...

Coupon for Case of Nestle Pure Life Water
(1 case with 3 proofs of purchase OR 2 cases with 5 proofs of purchase - limit of 10 cases per household)
    (coupons expire 04/30/10)

    $10 Sporting Goods Cash Certificate
(with 8 proofs of purchase - limit 2 certificates per household)
(certificate is redeemable for any sporting equipment or apparel at participating retailers listed on the certificate - certificate expires 03/30/10)

90-Day Best Life Membership (the program run by Bob Greene)
(with 10 proofs of purchase - limit 2 memberships per household)

There is a downloadable form for redemption on the website

This works great for our family - since this is the water we buy most of the time anyway. We go through a lot of bottled water - with sports and lunches and just everyday use.

I'll be sending in 1 form at the end of the week - for an investment of $9.95 (5 cases of water after insert coupon) I get back 2 free case coupons (which I of course save for when the water is full price!!! since the coupon is good for up to $4.99)

Hunting around for more information about the Sporting Goods Cash Certificates I found this website. It appears that there are many, many participating retailers including (but not limited to) Sports Authority, all the Foot Locker chains, Toys R Us, Bass Pro Shop, Cabelas, Target (this one stunned me happily), KMart, Walmart ... (of course with the pariticipants subject to change caveat)

TPG Rewards Inc - Sporting Goods Cash

I'll be keeping all of my water purchases on separate receipts from now on - now let's see how many cases can I fit in the garage this week.

    Free Toilet Paper
Marcal Small Steps 2 ply 4 roll bath tissue on sale for .99 (found on the Earth Day page)
    -1.00 Marcal bath tissue any 2 ct+ SS 4/5/09

I finally got free TP! However, it wasn't marked at my store and it rang up at 2.99. I showed the ad and she adjusted it. (although there was a question about if it was the correct size. Manager said: just give it to her)

I got this too. Same problem, she knew right away it wasn't ringing up for .99 and said, "This isn't the one that is on sale, we don't carry the correct one." And then she offered me a rain check.

What good is a raincheck if you'll never have the right one in stock?! :hectic1:

They ended up giving it to me but I'm still not sure which ones the ad meant. 4 roll pack of 2-ply, 672 count. I got the double roll 4 roll 2-ply, 336 sheets. (which would be 672 total if you count each ply...)

Then I had to show them the "unlimited manu coupons accepted at face value" sign to get them to take more than 4 of the same coupon. :shrug7:

I had to get rain checks for most of the goodies on Monday - Marcal 4-pk (they still had the $2.99 double roll but the $.99 stuff was gone), Ban, and Finesse. Funny thing happened though - I got 3 of the Marcal paper towels, regular price $1.29 on sale for $1.09. I used the coupon for a free paper towel (max value $1, or $1 off any other kind). The register automatically took off $1.29 when the cashier swiped it. I have used these exact same coupons for the exact same purchase before and they automatically came up as $1. I was also using some of the Buy 2 Get 1 free Crystal Light coupons as the large canisters are on sale for $2.99. Again, the register automatically deducted the full regular price of $4.99. Obviously the cashier can override the amounts deducted, but mine didn't even when I mentioned the difference to her. I'm certainly not complaining, but I hope she doesn't get in trouble for it.
