Funny thing happened though - I got 3 of the Marcal paper towels, regular price $1.29 on sale for $1.09. I used the coupon for a free paper towel (max value $1, or $1 off any other kind). The register automatically took off $1.29 when the cashier swiped it. I have used these exact same coupons for the exact same purchase before and they automatically came up as $1. I was also using some of the Buy 2 Get 1 free Crystal Light coupons as the large canisters are on sale for $2.99. Again, the register automatically deducted the full regular price of $4.99. Obviously the cashier can override the amounts deducted, but mine didn't even when I mentioned the difference to her. I'm certainly not complaining, but I hope she doesn't get in trouble for it.

Could it have been that she didnt swipe your bonus card till after it rang in? It might have not registered the discounts and assumed it was at the regular price. I know with the SCO they ask you to swipe your bonus card after you have scanned all your items. Then once you scan, you hear all the discounts that come off. The receipt is printed the same way. All reg prices, then all bonus card discounts, then coupons, just as entered.

No, she scanned my card putting through any coupons but after ringing up the items. However this happened I hope it keeps on happening :) The cashier was actually just thrilled to not have to look up the prices to enter them manually.
