A&P/SuperFresh ~ Good Deal: A & p -- 3/6/09 -- 3/12/09

Thought I'd get us started this week by adding this new thread on A & P deals. Of course, I'm in triple coupon withdrawal (as I'm sure many of you are as well) but hopefully there are still a few good deals to be had this week.

So, post away, my fellow A & P folks.

I'll start:

Blue Bunny ice cream is $2.99 and I believe there is a $1 IP; not free but a decent price for this EXCELLENT ice cream!

There's also a bunch of health and beauty stuff that is .99. For example Suave deodorant (I think there's a .50 q out there) and Zone bars (should be a .50 q out there as well).

Totino's pizza rolls are $1/box and there are 35cent qs to make them 30 cents box. These also count towards your frozen food total for the $10 oyno. I had to get a raincheck at one of my A&Ps since they were out so I'm wondering if I use the raincheck next week when they're back to regular price will the regular price go towards my total rather than the $1 sale price? I'm guessing yes.

Romaine lettuce is 99 cents pound- good deal for me!

OMG, I did not even realize there were still A & P stores. thanks for the memories, the last time I was in one, I think I had to be like 8 years old which was a REALLY long time ago LOL.

I went tonight to use up a 2.50 cat and I noticed these

Pepperidge farms granola cookies 1.74-1.00 q (insert)
Wheat thins Artisan 1.74-1.00q (tearpad)
gallon milk was 2.50 + oreos 2.09-1.00 q (tearpad-$1/nabisco wyb milk)

Not a suave deoderant nor superpretzel in site! LOL

My 3.00 catalina states:
