I'm sorry I have to ask I'm new to Philly and just finding new stores to shop at in my area.

Do they double up to .99 or will a .75 coupon double to 1.50?

The answer to that determines the next one, when they triple it stops once the tripled price has reached .99 or they will triple my .75 coupon to 2.25?

If I have a coupon that is $1 they will not do anything with it. Except take $1 off correct

They double up to a .99 coupon, meaning:
.75 = $1.50
.99 = 1.98
$1 and over = face value only

Same way w/ triples:
.75 = $2.25
.99 = $2.97
$1 and over = face value only

Also, the double and triple values may be reduced if the double or triple exceeds the item's price:
Soup .99 - .50/1 doubled - the coupon may only double or triple an additional .49, not the full .50 doubled or $1 tripled. This is really part register and part cashier input, so ymmv. I would not buy anything expecting overage, but free is good enough for me.
