The French's mustard catalina is a deal that is running (and advertised with shelf tags) at Acme. At Acme it is buy 2, get $1 oyno. Sounds like it's also running at SF but not advertised.

I mentioned the Success rice yesterday on clearance for .85, but the q I have is for 14 oz or larger and this is the 7 oz. Sorry, I hadn't looked at the coupon before I posted!

I did noticed something interesting. Yesterday I used some small Healthy Ones lunch meat coupons and didn't get overage, but then I used some large sized ones today and got overage. I think the small coupon came from the 1/4 insert and the bigger size, the 1/18. Unless it was just different registers that allowed the overage? I went to the same store both times.

If you want a bangin' deal on some Sargento cheese.......go to Food Lion and grab a couple of .55 peelies from the bags of slices (did I just say that?????) The peelie says "any Sargento Natural Cheese Snack". They worked on both slices and shredded cheese.

Here's my Superfresh cheese run. Hubby did the same. We both did a few runs.

Sargento shredded cheese

For each transaction I did one shred and one slices and paid only .70 for cheese!! Worked fine at self check out and worked fine with the cashiers!! Didn't even question using the store Qs and ManQs together. The Easy Solutions Qs were 2 separate Qs. One said "shredded" and one said "slices" so they can both be used at the same time.

How does this work to triple a coupon that is

.60/2 items

I would still get 1.90 off the price of two items?

I have never shopped here before. I just know that when they do the kmart doubles the 1/2 coupons don't seem to work right they only take the cost off of one item so once that item is free it stops doubling.... its this the same way?

I've had much better luck at SF than Kmart when it comes to the "$0.00 off two" coupons. I bought the Hellman's today and got the $1.80 off two.

My trip was ok. My SF is older and smaller. No Muir Glen. Limited selection of tea. Found out they don't take IPs, but I didn't have that many anyway, and the organic milk was still a good deal.

My oop was $164, but I had planned for it to be high. I'm due to give birth any day, so this was our last stock up trip for hopefully several weeks. My coupons were $169 and I had $75 in card savings.

There was a man behind me, and as usual I gave the warning "jsyk, I have a lot of coupons." He said he didn't mind waiting. He started watching my total go down and said "do you mind if I ask, how much did you save? I think you saved at least $60!" I laughed & said it better be much more than that.

The cashier looked at the receipt & said "she had $169 in coupons, which is more than she spent."

Man just chuckled & said "now I feel inadequate. I have a club card."

Emeraldeyez, There is no problem with a coupon being off 2 at SF. It will double or triple to the max allowable or to the total cost of both. Which SF do you go to. They converted so many in Philly to Pathmarks. I do not think there are any left in NE Philly.

Wow, really!! I was just there, but didn't see any tags under them. I knew I should of scanned them.

I'm really happy with this A&P shopping trip, there were a lot of in-store specials:
Knorr Sides I think they're called Plus Veggies (Southwestern) $1.19
Paul Newman's Lemon Pepper Marinade $1.59
Fresh Express Tender Leaf Salads had a manager special $1.00 Q on the pack, with the .75cents Q, they were free.

Herbal Essences (various scents, styling products, shampoos) $2.19

There were more I just can't seem to remember now.... the only thing that I was really sad about was the Viva Towels, they were totally cleaned out and I don't even have 1 roll in the house!! Oh well I'll check another store in the morning.
