I shop at Fred's occasionally. Usually on Saturdays when they double one like coupon. Can't wait to get sneak peeks of the ads!!!

I shop at Fred's on Saturdays when they double up to and including .70. They do have a policy of only one like item. So if you have three coupons for an item and buy all three; only one coupon doubles. So you have to make multiple transactions. Fortunally I have three Freds within a 20 mile radius so on Sat. I usually hit all three circle back and hit them again on the say home. to make it worth my time and gas

I had never heard of Fred's until moving up to GA last year.
I go on Saturday's when they double the Q's.

I haven't had the problem with them taking like Q's though. I have gotten LOTS of bandaids and deodorant for free.

I shop at Fred's on Saturdays. My Freds will double 2 of each. I was in line behind a lady who did mutiple transactions with her coupons. I'll do that next time!

I just moved to an area where there is pretty much nothing but Fred's! LOL! So I'm in! A co-worker was telling me how they doubled coupons on Saturdays. She just mentioned that they only double up to .50 cents and only take one like coupons as mentioned previously. Our Fred's has lots of good housewares though. Alot of it is supposedly left overs from Kirklands. I went this past week with my mother when she came to visit and we found several good deals! Thanks for starting this new thread!!

There's a Fred's about 40 miles from me, the only one I know of in the area, in a shopping center I only pass on my way to a close friend's parents' house. Until I noticed it and mentioned it to my friend, I'd never heard of the store either! LOL

Does Fred's have a website? What kind of things do they sell? Is it similar to Big Lots or Aldi's, maybe? Are there ever any big, can't-miss sales that might make it worth the extra miles/gas/time for folks like me?

Thanks for starting this forum-- I'm interested in learning about this store! Maybe I can at least find some deals for my friend's parents! :)

I've never been to Aldi's, but I would say it is similar to Big Lot's.

I have a Fred's right up the road from my house. I used to get a sales ad from them but not very often. I will be going in there today also.
