I googled Fred's Discount Store and found this website, but I'm not sure if this is the same company. Can one of you check it out and let me know? There's a store locater on there. If it's the same company I'll post the link in a new thread and sticky it for easy access for you guys.

I shop at Fred's occationally. May have to start going more often. I didn't know they doubled coupons on Saturday.

I have a Freds! I usually hit them on Sat to see what I can get cheap.
I do pick up Electrosol Dish Powder (when I run out of the free stuff). It's $1.99 and they double my .35....so $1.29 for the 50oz box.
They also carry trial size stuff that is usually priced @ $1 (not the .99 headache I get at WM) I picked up tons of Olay lotion a few months ago.

:hectic1: Thanks guys, I have shopped at Fred's but only in SC. We will be moving back around Christmas time so the double q's will really come in handy. I've found some nice side pieces like endtables and such for pretty resonable prices, same quality like Big Lots, not bad.

I used to work at Fred's several years ago. Their policy is that they will double 1 like coupon per transaction.

BUT THERE IS A LOOP HOLE.....

The computers are programed to catch multiple coupons based on the SKU# of the product you buy. What this means is... let's say you have a coupon for Mr. Clean. If you purchase 1 bottle EACH of the blue, orange, red, green, etc. all 4 of your coupons will double.

Just always get one of each of the different 'flavors' of the product you have coupons for.

I love Fred's and like Jennifer said if you buy different scents/flavors the computer doesn't pick up on it being the same product.

Oh wow, I have one of these, kind of. Was down visiting MIL and we went a weird way to her house and saw this and was like "I wonder what that store it" and never thought anything more of it cause I thought it was like some rinky dink local grocery. And we passed it on a saturday! dangit. I should have stopped! >.<
