Super Doubles deals 2/1 - Charlotte, NoVa, Hampton Roads

Don't get too excited. It's a rumor only. Here's how I happened upon the info:

I was in Bloom tonight doing the McCormick deal. Forgot that they don't allow you to scan your own coupons at U-scan. So gave my coupons to the cashier. For some reason he didn't scan them but got the equivalent cash amount to give me. But he only brought back the face value of the coupons, not the doubled amount. When I brought that to his attention he told me they no longer doubled. (I think he must have been mistaken about this since their circular said they still doubled up to 0.99 which I confirmed later.) I had him cancel the order. Told him how disappointed I was that they were no longer doubling. To console me he told me that they would be doubling Feb. 1. To make sure I wasn't misunderstanding I asked and he confirmed that he meant they were doubling Feb. 1.

I'm not sure what to make of that. Perhaps it's actually Super Doubles. (Too bad I didn't think at the time to ask him if it was Super Doubles.) Another thing: Feb. 1 is a Tuesday. Maybe he really meant Feb. 2 (a Wednesday). That would be similar to their last one-day Super Doubles.

This guy was just a cashier I think. So this is NOT set in stone. But something seems to be in the offing.

I'd better get clipping and organizing!

They did Super Doubles on Jan 1 so it might make sense. I'm headed to Bloom at lunch today to do some more McCormick's (Oh how I love this deal.) so I'll see if I can get anything out of my cashier.
