Waldbaum's Coupons that double up to 99 cents

Hi everybody, I am new here. I have a question. I used a $1.00 off coupon at Waldbaum's, where they double up to 99 cents. Because they only double up to 99 cents, they didn't double the coupon at all ! Shouldn't they double it anyway but for 99 cents? I feel that now I don't want $1.00 off coupons, because I lose the doubling.! Does anybody know anything about this? I'd love your feedback and to hear about your experiences. Thanks.

When the coupon policy states that they double any coupon that has a face value at or below .99 that means:

They won't double any coupons with a face value over .99.
So a .75 off coupon gives you 1.50 off
a .60 off gives you 1.20 off
but a $1.00 is still $1.00 off.

Thank You, you were very helpful, so then in that case, I guess having a 99 cent coupon is better than a $1.00 off coupon. With the 99 cent coupon I would get $1.98 off, but with the $1.00 coupon, I would only get $1.00 off, right?

that is correct. THe stores in the tri state area used to double $1 coupons but that is no longer the case unfortunately. $.75/1 are your friend! LOL :)

Thank you everybody. So now I am realizing not to get too excited over the $1 coupons , so 75 cent ones are my friends now. Should I try to just match up all $1 coupons up to sales at KK? I am noticing a lot of the $1 coupons are actually for $1/2, which also kind of stinks, I'd rather have the .50/1, and get it doubled to become a $1/1 !

Also was wondering, is there anywhere I can find Waldbaum's match ups? I can't find anything that matches current sales with coupons. Thanks

Check in the A&P/Superfresh forum. Same parent company and more active forums. Occasionally the sales will be slightly different but usually the matchups are good for Waldbaums too. Welcome and good luck!
