Old Navy ~ $1 Cozy Socks - when?

So I called old Navy and according to my store, they will be running the scarves for $1 and that's it. I asked about the socks... they said they ran them for $1 on Black Friday and will not be running them for $1 again.... now I don't remember it being in the ad for black friday (because I looked) however, I did not go into that store on Black Friday so I can't say for sure. I asked about it not being in the ad - and the sales girl told me that they had alot of Black Friday deals that were going on in the store but weren't in the ad..... This is just one store that told me this - I was wondering if anyone else had called their stores and what story they got?

Yes I noticed that as well- which really surprised me since I called and asked a couple days ago and was assured that only the scarves would be on sale for $1. But it was a very exciting surprise - I am glad I checked....although they were very picked over by the time I arrived..
