Beth -- take it back next time. Seriously. They take back ANYTHING provided a huge portion of it isn't missing. TJs has the BEST return policy I've ever seen in a grocery store.

Dude you need to go back and do a price ck.....you cant compare the quality and the price...just cant be beat! If you want to buy pasta made in Italy at your average grocery store you have to wait for the Barilla to go on sale....but at Trader pasta made in Italy is always at the best price......a few years ago I was in Italy with my mother at a bank making a transaction...a young woman over heard my mother and I speacking English...in her best English she asked if we had ever heard of Trader Joes......I thought it was odd...that a native would be asking us that, I said yes...I shop there all the time....well she told me her company produces there brand pasta....my mom and I were wowed....so from now on we only buy trader joes made in italy pasta.

Unfortunately I had dumped the whole can into a pan I was making for dinner, so there really wasn't any way to take it back. Next time I guess I should take one out first and taste it!

Wow-- I need to go there! Everything sounds great...and they have them in the DC area. I love hummus and it seems like its all very fresh!

At least a 1/3 of my grocery budget is spent at Trader Joe's. Best prices on organic dairy products, love the cereals especially the prices on the Kashi brand, Soy Corn Dogs are awesome, I could go on and on :)

I like to buy as much additive free stuff as possible and they help me with that. I will say that their bread products will spoil much faster due to the lack of preservatives. So inspect, check the date, and eat quickly!

About returns, one time I was buying a watermelon and the cashier said "oh your going to enjoy this!" and I replied that I hoped so because the last one was really crummy. He asked if I bought it there and when I told him I had, he said well you aren't paying for this one if the last one wasn't good and gave me my new watermelon for free just based on my review of the last one!

I ADORE Trader Joe's, but the nearest one to us now is more than 5 hours away, so we only rarely get to go (when we are on the way to visit family).

Their 2 buck Chuck ROCKS, I love their organic dairy, their hummus and tabouleh, the frozen brown rice, the mochi ice cream, triple ginger snaps and their liquid hand soap (one of the few that doesn't make me break out in hives).

I keep emailing them to tell them they need to come to SC! If only they'd listen, LOL!

I love love love TJ's!!!!! The frozen cheese enchiladas are AWESOME! They have great salads, cheese & lunch meat too!

Oh and the white pop corn is another one of my favorites!!! The only thing I never ever buy from TJ's anymore are the breads and baked goods........... they just never seemed fresh to me and when I would buy them they always seemed stale. But everything else is awesome! The marinara sauce and the spices are great too!!!!

I LOVE TJ'S!!!
