I would've thought that, but TJ's are almost 1/2 price of my grocery stores. Maybe my supermarkets are too overpriced these days. I have noticed most goods have gone up generally $1 in my stores, were 50c more a few weeks ago & this week when I shopped they were up another 50c.

Weetabix are $4.99 - $5.19 in my stores TJ $2.69 w. coupon makes $1.69. I've never see tomatoes at $1.99. Sale prices are $2.99. My store up the road charges $8.99 for those emerald nuts!

Now I don't buy much there because I have a produce store up the street and nearly every is .59c - 99c 1b & meat & cheese is also low priced. I thank God because it was at the stage where I really couldn't afford to buy many fruit & veggies any more w. our large family.

I would also rather spend $1-2 on a bag of apricots or peaches rather than 20 boxes of free pop tarts which is what I found I can do w. coupons. No good spending little on junk food but winding up w. large dr's bills.

I like TJ because of its variety, and although it's hard to find coupons for their products, they do accept them. Great prices on milk and cheeses.

There's a 75c coupon for almond milk on coupons.com at the moment, makes it about $1.29. The chocolate is yummy.

I've also used the same coupon for Terra chips, Westsoy, Imagine.
There is also $1.50 for Tofutti products and Kashi cereals.

Seriously, they take your coupons??? Their website says they don't, and when I've asked locally for our stores policy, they say they don't. (well, not locally, it's an hour away, but that's local for us!)

I really like the Country Choice toasted oatmeal, and if they accepted the $1 /1 coupons, it would be MUCH better price that the grocery stores!

I like TJs because I can find snacks and sodas and bread, etc., that have no HFCS. Although most of what I buy there are little splurges, so I don't go often. I'm trying to get my 16yo son to apply for a job there.
