Children's Place ~ Returning 10 items from the same receipt??

Ok - I haven't ever returned this many items before from the same receipt. This shouldn't be a problem right? I bought a lot of items for DD (21 total) during the winter clearance. But yesterday, DH brought home 2 big bags full of 2T clothing from his coworker whose daughter just grew out of all of it this season. Inside were a ton of TCP items that I had already bought for her in the 2T size. But I really don't need 2 identical shirts/pants for her (10 different items were the same). I guess either way, I'm going to try it. Just wondering if this would be a problem. I have the original receipt and the clothing is new with tags as I purchased them from the store.

It would be great since I actually need some summer clothes for her and could really use the money toward that.

I dont see why that would be an issue as long as you have the receipt and the tags are still on, especially if you are going to end up purchase more items :)

Hopefully you're still in the time frame for returns and there's no "all clearance sales final" policy. Been a very long time since I shopped there.

Thanks for the responses! Yep - I'm within the 90 day return policy period that's written on the receipt (unless they changed that!). Just haven't returned so many items before.

Btw - why do they ask for ID? I'm sure they are tracking everyone but it seems like sometimes stuff happens and things need to be returned.

They have never asked me for id. I am in there enough though that they know me. I once returned 33 items from one reciept and I only bought 34. They didn't have a problem. They just were curious why. My son had grown what seemed like overnight. A week after I bought everything, he had outgrown them. They hadn't been worn yet, but I had already taken the tags off so they could be washed. I dug the tags out and took them with me, but they didn't even look at them. I returned everything with no issues. I am sure that you will have no problem.

I have twin daughters who are always a size apart, when I shop I tend to buy the mix match outfits in 3 different sizes...this way I can keep the pieces that fit each and return the others. I have returned a lot more than 10 at a time, so I do not think you will have a problem.
