Fellow NE Ohioians ~ Acme Fresh Market?

I'm pretty new here, I do most of my shopping at Giant Eagle/Marc's but also scour the Acme ad for deals. At first I thought that the Acme forum was for our Acme, but after taking my matchups to the store I found out quickly that there was a different Acme out there lol

Is anyone else interested in posting match-ups and/or price lists? I love when they have the Meat Week sales, like last week, but I often overlook possible great buys until after the sale has ended ~ I have no problem remembering that GE and Marc's start their new sales on Thurs, but for some reason I always want to think that Acme still does Sun instead of Sat and end up shopping on Sat looking for last weeks deals :sad:

we are getting a fresh market in central illinois come this fall. do you get good deals there? i think i will have to look at the ad and see...we are getting this new store and a hyvee! two new stores to compete with kroger, schnucks and cubs!

I think that their prices are kinda high, but their sales can be great. Before they started their Fuel Rewards program the national brands were high, but the store brand Food Club was good price and just as good as the national brands. Now that they started Fuel Rewards the prices for the Food Club brands are usually within $.50 of the national brands.

But, the one thing that I do love about them is that when they have a Meat sale it's wonderful, and I haven't found a grocery store that beats their quality of meat. And they sell local produce in the summer time, usually for cheaper then what I can go to the farm and buy it.

Actually, no i don't think their sales are that great. I don't shop there at all, they dont double coupons ever, high priced etc.

Giant eagle is so much better!

And your right the acme that we have is not the same. i wish it were!!
