QUESTION Children's Place ~ Credit Card?

Do you have one? Is it worth it? How much extra do you save? I have a regular credit card that gives me 1% cashback. But my ON card was cancelled so I'm thinking of getting another card possibly and was wondering which would be worth getting. Thanks!

It is a good deal IF you make payments on time and keep your balance low. When you apply, you save 10% off your purchase that day. When you get the card in the mail, it gives you another 10% off your first purchase with your card. Then, you accumulate rewards points (your rewards points start the day you get the card) $1=1 rewards point except when they have "Double Points Days" in which case $1=2 rewards points. Once you accumulate 200 rewards points, you get a sticker to put on your card that is good for 10% off EVERY purchase until the following Jan. 31. If you shop TCP enough to spend $200 (or $100 in double points days), it's a great deal. Cardholders also get special coupons in the mail. You can use the 10% off online purchases as well. There isn't an annual fee & if you pay it off, there's no interest...I think it's a great deal...plus, you can use the card (getting rewards points) then without even leaving the register, pay off the balance. Hope this helps!

    My best financial advice?

Thank you for this information. Can this be stacked 10% with the 15% off cpns (for non-cc customers) that I get in the mail every so often or get in the store or in a magazine? Just curious because it seems like cpns are periodically available and 15% seems to trump the 10% from the credit card so if I could only use one or the other, it seems to make sense that I'd only use the 15% that non-cc holders get. And then get 1% cash back from my regular visa.

I do currently spend at least $200 in the store on gifts for others & clothes for DD. But I see other customers with coupons I've never seen or what-not so maybe I'm not seeing the full benefits.

Yes, you can stack the coupons. Sometimes if you get the right cashier and ask nicely they will give you a coupon if you don't have one to stack with it. 90% of the time, they take an extra coupon off that I didn't have prior to going in. If you do choose this card, go through the papers that you get in with the bill. I nearly threw away my sticker.
