Other National Chain Store ~ Clearance: Big Lots ~ Long's Drug Now On 90% Clearance

Big Lots in Des Moines has all of the Long's Wellness brand of over the counter medicines at 90% off! I believe I read on the boards that Long's went out of business.

Brought Long's generic Zyrtec for $3.18 for 90 10mg tablets. Still has the sticker for $31.89 on it. Also had generic Priolsec, Robitussin, Dayquil, TheraFlu etc. I picked up enough generic over the counter stuff to keep me and my family in cough syurp, heartburn medicine (which is usually around $15.00 for 28 tablets), kids allergy medicine, daytime and night time sinus medicine and cough drops for the winter for less than $30.00! Check expiration dates but most of the ones I saw were in at least early 2010 if not longer.

Make sure you check it outat your Big Lots. In my store it's near the clearance shelves.

That is funny that they shipped the Long's products to Iowa! Long's was a major California drug store chain that was bought by CVS. Stores only reached as far east as Colorado and they were all remodeled this summer in June-July-August so what you're seeing out there is pretty fresh off the shelves.
