QUESTION Gymboree ~ First time doing gymbucks...think I messed up?

Hello everyone! I am so excited to start shopping at gymboree! I have a question though. (hope this won't be too confusing) ... I was planning on only spending the $50 to get the 25 Gymbucks. So I had her add everything up and my total came to 85 so I started taking off the things I liked least. My total was at 73 and I was having a hard time deciding what to take off. Well my dh was getting tired of being in the store so he just said we should pay the 73 and get out of there. So thats what I did. But now looking back I'm kicking myself for not just buying $25 more worth of stuff so I can have 50 Gymbucks instead of 25. So my question is: Can I return the things that put me over 50 and buy them right back with other stuff to earn another gymbuck? I hope that makes sense! TIA :)

Yes, you can return items from your gymbucks receipt but most likely they will not let you buy them right back. What you could do is decide which item(s) you really don't like all that much and when you do the return you pick out some more stuff to purchase from the sales floor. That way it will all be on the same receipt and you will get two gymbucks if you make it to $100 total merchandis before tax. Or you could just go back and return whatever you didn't like all that much so that the remainder is just over $50 and you still keep your one gymbuck.
Come visit us as gymbofriends sometime to get the scoop on all things gymboree.

If you return stuff they won't give you all your money back.

I think you miss-understood her question. She is saying she spent too much while earning the gymbuck, not spending it. I used to work for gymboree (nearly a year, and was a manager), the first response is correct. They are not suposed to allow you to return and re-bye. There is one exception to this, if they have the same items in the size you need you can switch those out. You just have to make sure to do this all in the same transaction if you want to get to $100. SOMETIMES the register will not prompt to the asociate if your short of the next gymbuck if you do it this way, so it's best to calculate your total. HTH

Thank you guys so much for the replies! I really appreciate this! I think what I will do is go ahead and see what I have that I could return (the stuff I don't like as much) to make my total at 50 so I can keep my one gymbuck, and then buy some more stuff from the sales floor to earn me another one. Thanks so much for the help!!! I think I'm starting to get addicted to gymboree! lol
