Dollar Tree ~ what, if anything do you still buy @ dollar tree since coupons?

Since discovering couponing (the RIGHT way) i have come to the conclusion that dollar tree seems to expensive for most things

i do however have a small dollar tree list of things i buy all the time

frozen peaches
frozen strawberries
sea salt grinders
sponges when i cant catch a sale(not the best, but works, and i seem to be buying them every 6 weeks or so)
body sponges (i cant get them for less then 1.00/5 anywhere else!)
craft supplies----not the best selection, but theres always some sort of something i didnt have that i will use
pasta if im out, and dont have any coupons/sales
spices (for the containers so that they are labeled and then i can buy in bulk to refill them)
plastic shoeboxes with lids for storage


what do you still buy at your dollar tree? (or local dollar store for that matter)

I still use the dollar tree for:
Party supplies
gift bags
coloring books
kitchen gadgets (pizza wheel, turner,etc)
pregnancy tests! LOL my pills work too good, and usually keep me from having my monthly. The tests keep me from freaking out every month!

I get the XXL storage bags cause I've never seen a coupon for the name brand.

Can't remember the name of them but they are name brand plastic version of SOS pads. I put them in my Scrubbing Bubbles toilet wand to clean, well...the toilet. lol Cheaper than the SB pads that just melted when I put them in the water.

The occasional pizza cutter when the need arises.

The 4 gallon trash bags to keep in the car cause I don't always have an empty shopping bag handy.

That's all I can remember off the top of my head but I agree with you. I don't shop there nearly as much now that I coupon like a pro.

Every month I am 99.999% positive that I'm not pregnant, my pills work great. But that little .0001 gets me rattled and it's a $ peace of mind!

Not much...The dollar store can turn into the twenty dollar store real quick!! Mostly --

Cards, Invitations, balloons
Glad steam bags
Containers, (both food & storage)
Activity & coloring books
Snacks for the kids during the school year (usually just to fill in when I'm running low until I can get more goodies from my brother)

Newspapers are my #1 reason for going there!

Besides that:

Hand cleaner for my hubby
Sponges
Spatulas (I know...but seriously I love theirs!)
Greeting cards
Wrapping paper and bags
Activity books/coloring books

And at Christmastime...stocking stuffers in the toy area!

Their bath trinkets. I love their facial mitt, back scrubber, and body glove.
The also sell a hairbrush that makes wrapping my hair a breeze.

Eta, a couple years back they carrier those dust pans with the handle. I haven't been able to find them there since.
