    QUESTION newb questions

hello everyone, just a few newb questions :)

My local Fred's Pharmacy doubles coupons on Saturdays up to .70 cents. So if I have a coupon for $1 off something, would they double it up to $1.70 or would they just not double it at all because it is over .70 cents?

Another thing, if I have 2 coupons for $1.50 any Hot Shot product and Fred's has this on sale this week for $2.50. Can I use both coupons to get this free? Or can I only use one coupon off to get it for only $1? Is this a good deal? If it is, I might want to order a few off of a clipping service to stock up for a while, since we use this a lot during the summer!

    Thanks everyone!

I've never shopped at Freds but I would say that a 1.00 coupon would be taken at face value but anything under .70 would double. You can use 2 coupons on two items and only 1 coupon on 1 item. So you could get the Hot Shot for 1.00 each. I usually don't buy this much but I think a good deal depends on how much you usually pay for something vs how much you could get it for on sale and with a coupon. What may be a good deal for someone else may not be a good deal for you.

#1-.70 coupon: yes they double that one but not the $1 one. They will only double when the original value of the coupon is .70 or under.

#2 - You can use one manufactures coupon per item. Therefore if you have 2 coupons for one product, you must buy 2 same items in order to use 2 mfg coupons. Pay $1 each for 2 cans of hot shot. Is that a good price? I don't know cuz I don't use it.

I think $1 for spot shot is a pretty good deal. That stuff is good at getting all kinds of junk out of the carpet and you can't get it at the dollar store. LOL

This is good enough at this time of crisis, even a little discount counts a lot. You can add up all $1 discounts to buy other things.
