QUESTION Fred's Discount Store ~ question about doubling coupons

I know that my local Fred's doubles coupons UP TO .70 on saturdays.

I'm wondering..if I have a coupon for $1 off, would they double it up to $1.70 since it's up to .70? Or would they just not double it at all sincei it's over .70?

They wouldn't double it at all. It would just be a dollar off.

I had no idea Fred's doubles. Is it corporate policy or just different stores? Also, is it just on Saturdays?

Doubles up to .70 every Saturday on the first item, if more than one of the same is purchased it will only double the first coupon used-the rest at face value. Example:
Dawn Dish Det 1.00-.50Q-.50Q (dbl)=0.00 on the first Dawn. If you bought a second Dawn in the same transaction the second Q would only take .50 off:1.00-.50Q=.50.
    Just a heads up.

Rebuilding database q's...just ask for a specific q and I'll gladly look. Thank you.
