Dierberg's Shoppers RE: coupon policy **UPDATED**

Remember when the Kashi waffles were on sale for $2.50 a couple of weeks ago? I had a cashier and an assistant store director both tell me that Dierberg's coupon policy says you can't use more than 4 like coupons.

Their ad states no more than 3 like coupons (used to be 4) under the double coupon heading (bottom of last page).

I contacted customer service to ask whether the limit on like coupons applied to all coupons or simply those that double. The response I got back from a cs rep says that the cashier and asd I spoke to were wrong and I was right. (Gotta love being right!) You are only limited on coupons that will double (any under 40c)!

I have asked for something written, either snail mail or email, that I can have with me in the store in case it comes up again. The cs rep I've been talking to said that right now she only has what comes in their training manual, but she is going to get something written for me.

As soon as I have the written policy, I will share with anyone who wants it! If it's snail mailed, I'll just scan it. PM me if you want a copy and I'll definitely share it with you!

****UPDATE****

I was able to save the policy as a google document. Here is the link for all who want a copy of it. It specifically clarifies that they do not limit the number of coupons except for doubling purposes!

Thank you for contacting them! I always wondered about using more than 3 alike on the non-doubling ones/over 40¢ coupons. Sometimes it's a pain checking out multiple times.

I had a cashier who misunderstood that very policy within recent weeks. It didn't really affect me at the time, but it made me worry for the future. I will be looking forward to seeing the written policy.
