Other National Chain Store ~ Weekly Ad: Best Buy: GDA on Samsung HE washer & dryer

In this weeks ad, on page 22, they have a Samsung 4.0 cu ft 10-cycle front load washer with vrt (vibration reduction technology) and the Samsung 7.3 cu ft 7 cycle electric dryer.

Both are listed as Save $160, 799.99 BEFORE SAVINGS! Next to it, it says received $35 in reward certificates. I thought this was the savings they were talking about and that they were supposed to be $960 each. I check online and sure enough, they are 799.99 - 160.00=639.99 each. Plus, if you buy them online together, you get an additional 10% off. This brings them down to $575.99 each.

We were getting ready to order them and I thought I would look and see how much Sears was selling them for. They have the same set, but they are only on sale for $807.xx. Sears has a price match policy that if you find an appliance cheaper somewhere else, they will match it, plus give you an additional 10% of the difference in prices off!!
I went in last night, and was able to get them for $552.84 each. I was sooo excited I thought I would share in case someone is looking for a good deal on a washer & dryer like I was.

I was much happier to order them from our hometown Sears than to go to Best Buy, and so thankful for their price match policy!!

We almost ordered a Kenmore set last week during their friends & family special, and they would have been $1440 plus taxes, and they did not have vrt like this set, which we actually need since they are not going on a concrete floor. I am glad we waited :)

How do these compare to Maytag? I'm looking to buy a new set myself.

I have this washer and dryer and I love them! When sear had there friends and family event I was able to pick the set up for $624.00 at that price I couldn't pass them up. One of my favorite features is the sanitize mood. I do recommend buying the warranty my husband ran a load and managed to rip the door gasket and had we not had it we would have been out of pocket 189.00 plus service fee. Sears has been having a rebate on delivery plus there appliances are 5% off which they should honor after they price match them.
