Well, I went today. I know it won't help this week since today's Sunday, but if they do it again . . .

Pam was an ok deal at $1.34 after using a 55 cent coupon. It's not something I ever find free.

Vanity Fair everyday napkins (not the dinner ones) were 99 cents after a 50 cent coupons.

The big Daisey sour cream was on sale for $2.50. It had an expiration date of 7/13. (I guess if something is already soured, that helps . . . LOL). It ended up being $1.00.

Best deal of the day was McCormick pepper. They are on sale for $2.50 for a large can. Then there was a 25% more version on an endcap. I had $1.00/1 so $1.50 for a really big can thrilled me.

None of this is free, but the truth is that I have a lot of the stuff you can get for free . . . shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, condiments, etc. That's the purpose of a stockpile. It was nice to pick up some stuff at a cheaper price that I can't normally find.

I will miss Bruno's. Somehow they quit having great sales, which was when I stopped shopping there. Publix was close to where I worked, and they were so incredibly friendly. Of course, I buy most of my groceries at Walmart except for incredibly good deals such as BOGO. But I really feel sorry for the Bruno employees. I have seen the same people work there for YEARS.
