On page 6A of the Birmingham News, there is an ad for Bruno's and Food World advertising a Three Dale Sale. On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (March 29-31) Bruno's and Food World will be triple manufacturing coupons up to .55. I called the Alabaster store to confirm. They told me there is no limit on the number of qs used and the register will automatically triple the qs.

I don't know if this is regional or at all stores. You might want to call your store to confirm.

Maybe we could get a list of free/cheap items?

I went and wasn't that impressed. I did buy some stuff but most stuff was either overpriced or strangely absent from the shelves. Where was the Downy, for example?

What I thought was a good deal:
Minute Brown Rice reg. 2.29 50/any .79
Dole Pineapple reg. 1.00 55/2 .35 for 2 cans
Ronco pasta reg. 1.19 55/2 .73 for 2 pkgs. (BOLT rebate)
Crisco spray reg. 2.79 55/1 1.14 a can (bought 2)
Ziploc snack bags reg. 2.29 40/1 1.09 a package
Vanity Fair plates reg. 1.64 50/1 .14 a package

The VF plates were a closeout, which is why they were so cheap.

I spent $6.50 including tax. The prices are higher because there isn't really much of a sale going on. I had to buy large cans of the Dole, for example, instead of the smaller sizes.

Still, it wasn't a waste of time.

Reynolds baking cups = 1.09 - .25 tripled q = .34
Fleischmann's Yeast 1.59-.45 tripled q = .24
Uncrustables 2.39 - .55 tripled q = .74


Be sure to check the Food World Board - They are a sister store and prices are pretty much equal

Air Head Xtremes were free at Food World - My Brunos didn't carry them - maybe you have it at your store

V8 -- 46 oz, regular $2.99, 50/1 = $1.50
Luigi's Italian Ice 50/1 = $1.50
Powerade Multipack 2/$9 50/1 = $3, plus since I bought 2 I got another free

Matahma brown rice, $1.29 50/1 = FREE
Grands biscuits $1 - 50/3 = $.50
Powerade singles $1.29 - .40 = $.09
Lean Pockets $2 - .40 = .80

There's more but I can't remember -- will have to dig out my receipt


I know today I'm going to check out the Kraft bbq sauce and salad dressing so I can use my 50/1 on those.

I have never known a store here to triple coupons, so I was super excited when I got to the store and they had the tiny photocopied flyer taped to the door. (If I hadn't been looking I never would have noticed. Thanks HCW! and OP!)
The only thing that I got in addition to what was already listed was Mentos for Free. (1.59 minus .55 coupon- I had several so it must have been in different weeks inserts.)
