I still say their return policy beats most. I have worked for retailers where people returned air conditioners and snow blowers at the end of the season. Costco is still reasonable with returns. I had a problem only once and that time the store manager called me at home and took care of the whole matter.

So there is a 90 limit now on the items mentioned. What about the items that weren't mentioned? I bought a Roomba from them a couple months ago and am getting ready to return/exchange it because it is defective. Anyone know if I will have any problems doing this?

TIA

You will not have any problems. Their return policy is still the most liberal out there.

I had no idea, we have a sam's membership b/c there is not a costco in any of our family's cities out of town. I will have to consider this when our membership expires.

ps I agree about the 5 year old tv deal. That is called wear and tear, not a defect.

I bought a vacuum there and it stopped working after three months. I was in the middle of selling our house so I needed a vacuum. They took it back, no problem, and let me get a new one. I really appreciate their customer-friendliness. I go there with my kids all the time and I always feel welcome.

BTW, my aunt said one Costco customer service person told her that someone tried to return the fat portion from meat for the cost/pound and another person tried to return flowers that had died (after two weeks!). That's really bad.
