Thanks for sharing this. I will tell my son.
There is a deal this week where they add a percentage to your trade ins based on the number you bring. We took in 6 games and got the best deal we have ever gotten on trades there! If you bring in 6 they will add 40% to your trade in values. We joined their membership and they added 50% to our trade in values. We got $55 for 6 games and most of them were really old PS2 games.
I was able to get the Wii My Fitness Coach game that I have been really wanting for free. (It has great online reviews.) I still have a $15 credit and I think I will use it to reserve the new game for Wii Fit by EASports. I saw the promo boxes and flyers...it looks great and the Gamestop guys said it is supposed to be a sequel that is even better than the original.
Hurry in though, because the trade in deal may be over tomorrow. It was in last weeks ad and didn't specify an end date...but the clerks said it could end when the new ad comes out on Sunday.

Just bumping this up because the deal is still on this week, too!![]()
our local game stop is not participating.. here in cincinnati. I called and they knew nothing about this.
Sorry, manders. They have a huge sign up at our store. 10% additional for 1 or 2 trade ins, 20% for 3-5 and 40% for 6 or more. Last week, the clerk said it was in their weekly ad. Maybe they only held it over in certain areas. :shrug7:
Actually, I'm pretty sure this would be for ALL gamestops. Sometimes the employees are just clueless. I'd be willing to bet if you took 6 games in, had them ring them up as trade ins, and hit the total button, you would get the bonus added. You could always back out if you didn't, but I'm pretty sure you would.
Is there a chart or something where it has trade-in values anywhere?
I've never seen a chart. We have called and asked about titles before...sometimes you'll get an employee who says they have to see it in person. But, most will give you a ballpark estimate or price range for the title because the value depends on how much your game is scratched.
