For those who have done this before does that mean they will double a $1/1 q to $2 or that they will double a $.60/1 only up to $1? Either way it is a good deal. The first way would be better I think.

We have a Pamida about 25 miles away. Has anyone actually done the doubling there? Are there any free items after coupons? Or even really cheap? I don't need a thing but I just can't seem to pass up free. TIA

This is a YMMV thing. My Pamida will only double to $1 and i have even spoken to the main Pamida not just the store.

Also does your Pamida take IP Q's ? Oours won't.
