Bed, Bath & Beyond ~ Not accepting expired coupons anymore

I read on another board that all BB&B will stop accepting expired coupons in Feb.... I can't remember the exact date. Several people had confirmed this. I thought I would put a note on here so if you needed something and was planning on using an expired 20% or 10/30 that you do it before it is too late. It is sad because I have a whole stockpile of these and I use each time I have to get a gift or something... HTH

I always put my coupons in the glove compartment in my car so I'll have them when I shop. Now I'll have to go through them all and pitch the expireds. What a bummer!

This is a crazy move, considering:
A) how over priced BBB is generally
B) I've never seen someone NOT use a coupon there
C) L&T just went out, what makes BBB immune?

They'll have two options after they see the negative effects of this move:
A) Accept expired coupons again
B) Meet L&T in "former retailers" heaven.

People are dependent on these coupons, I (along with almost EVERYONE I know) won't even go there without a coupon...now I have to be concerned about dates? I don't think so. See ya, BBB!

I agree I always take a coupon when I go. Everything is so expensive in there. If this is true I won't even go there and if I do it will be to there picked through clearance. Sorry to hear this.

I saw this coming with the closing of Linens and Things and hoped I was just being a pessimist, darn!
I'm glad I used my gift card this past weekend.

I don't believe that I have purchased anything for myself at BB&B in several years. All I have gotten is wedding gifts off of other people's registries, which I have to do now. I'm just going to fit in as many of the $5/15 cpns as I can before Sunday. No mention of it in my stores yet but who knows. I have three current non-expired q's that I usually use at BBB (Buy Buy Baby - just found out that they take non-expired BB&B qs). I need a baby monitor.

I just called My BBB and they assured my that they will continue to accept their expired coupons. I spoke with a manager. YMMV.

I suggest you call your individual store.
