re: Bed, Bath & Beyond ~ Not accepting expired coupons anymore I don't get the big fuss...it's not like they don't send these coupons every week anyways. You might not be able to combine them as easily now, but, it's not like they're not taking coupons at all anymore. IMHO, I thought it was a bad move anyways for them to take expired coupons. A business expects to loose money when they create their own coupons and distribute them, but also helps to make it up later when that customer comes back to purchase some (overpriced) item and doesn't have a coupon. But when a customer has tons of expired coupons that they are stockpiling, then the business will never gain money from that customer. In order for them to make money and revenue then they need to limit coupon usage. Just because you pay $10 for an item and the company gets that $10, doesn't mean that's what goes in their pocket. They might only get like $2 or $3 from that $10 purcahse, meaning that the coupon is costing more than what they are getting back. |
