hcwhcw, you are in NYC too right? I haven't heard from my store that they aren't taking it anymore. I'm going to keep trying until they say no.

I was in my local one today. The decision from corporate is to no longer accept coupons printed from the internet nor the gift of savings certificates. Nothing has been handed down from corporate saying that expired coupons will no longer be accepted. They will continue to accept the big blue expired coupons that are sent in the mail and further, if they do decide to no longer accept expired coupons they will post signs and make it known to their customers with ample notice.

I was really concerned because I shop more at Harmon's (BBB's beauty store) and they of course take the coupons too so I knew once BBB didn't take them Harmon's wouldn't either.

Last time I was at BBB the cashier told me they were going to stop accepting the expired coupons because LNT had gone out of business hence decreasing the competition. She wasn't too thrilled about that idea.

My BB&B stopped taking expired coupons starting last month. My mom tried several times to use an expired (only like 1 or 2 days expired), and was shot down every time.

What a bummer! I don't go there often but when I do I always use a coupon and it's almost always expired.

I asked at the bloomington IL store and they said that they will still be accepting expired coupons! So you may need to ask your store!!!

I really hope that's not the case. I don't buy anything there without a coupon and when I go, I usually buy several things, thus requiring the use of expired coupons.

I had a feeling they would do that after L&T went under

I asked at my store yesterday (Peoria, IL) and they said:

1. Yes, still accepting BB&B expired coupons.
2. Soon, (February sometime) they will not accept LNT coupons. Which makes sense.

Ya know, I was just in there on Monday and didnt have any of my 20% off coupons with me. At first I said well I have plenty of expired q's at home to use on the things we want.

Then I actaully said to my hubby, now that LNK is out of business I will bet that they either have or will change their policy on accepting their own expired q's. No more heavy competition.

If my closest store will not take them, I willl call around to see who will take them because we need 4 new roman shades and they are not cheap!
