I checked online and at our outlet store and the 50% off sale starts today... paired with the 15% off total purchase coupon I got from the store a few weeks ago I'm hoping to get some great bargains!!!

I think at the regular stores, the only 50% off clearance is the baby and newborn items. Hopefully that will change soon, I have a 25% off Q that expires on the 31st

I called my store and they are only 50% off baby boy and newborn items?? What's up with that? Anyone have an idea when to expect the rest to be additional 50%?? I need girls and baby girls things.

i'm pi$$ed...i placed my order wednesday, over $200...friday i get an apology email saying they accidently canceled my order...now half the things i was getting are gone....ridiculous customer service

I'm peeved with ya. I think they must have had serious issues with their website being swamped on Wednesday, because the site was super slow and I didn't think it was ever going to allow me to place my order. It kept popping up saying there were technical difficulties and I needed to try again.

Lo and behold, today DH tells me that we have 2 duplicate charges pending from Children's Place. I tried to call them twice today and there were like 18 or 19 calls ahead of me.

Finally DH got through and they told him some baloney about one charge being a pre-processing "hold" charge and that it will drop off when the order is shipped...around Jan. 29th! Meanwhile both pending charges are being counted against our account.

What a pain. I think I wish I would've skipped it altogether. The prices were only so-so IMHO anyway.

I went in today to check it out and it was a zoo. I believe this store had signs for 50% off selected discount merchandise and they were on the racks with baby girls (toddler) and boys too. This store had virtually NO newborn items... just a few here and there. And they were mostly in 0-3 month size. While that still fits DD, it's cutting it a little close. I didn't buy anything above the 12 month size but I think they were extra 50% off? It was soo hard to tell b/c virtually nothing even had the discounted sticker on it. I had to ask them to scan everything first. One item that I thought would be discount was still $6.99. Bummer. I got 5 items for $17. I went ahead and got the cute pink jumper/dress for her at $6.49. Most of the other items were in the $2.50 to $3.99 range. More expensive then I wanted but it was mostly fleece items which I like and she seems to like too.
